Before this I was a football coach. I am interested in most areas of education but particularly psychosocial aspects and how developments in technology are changing the way society interacts. Naturally curious, I enjoy analysing and exploring learning and like to observe different approaches.

Scholar Profile

My Professional Aims and Goals Whilst it’s good to adapt to the environment around us, I am a little cautious about overusing technology in classrooms; I feel technology should enhance what is already available, adding value to learning, or offer something that is not already existing.
My Current Professional Development Activity

In 2014 I undertook some action research with my Year 6 class, which involved filming myself and making the videos accessible within lessons, with a focus on how children used the videos to aid learning and the reasoning behind their choices.
