My Professional Aims and Goals

I am an experienced primary teacher and regularly spend time in schools, teaching and supporting staff and children. I frequently work as an ICT consultant, freelance writer and Promethean trainer across the UK.

My Current Professional Development Activity

I work with and mentor student teachers with a focus on ICT, Educational Technology and music.

In music, I work as a freelance musician and conductor. I perform in a range of different ensembles from saxophone ensembles, rock bands and a flute, oboe and piano trio. I previously worked for Hampshire Music Service as a Listen2Me instrumental teacher and I still teach for Portsmouth Music Service as a woodwind teacher.

Overview of My Professional Role and Activity

My main area of expertise is in working with and mentoring student teachers with a focus on ICT, Educational Technology and music. I have worked as a VLE/Learning Platform Consultant within Hampshire and I was a former county-based Advanced Skills Teacher (AST) specialising in Primary ICT, where I supported primary schools across Hampshire.
